Biography

Kathern Grace Seckman, 69, of Centerville Community, Alma departed this life Thursday, January 28, 2010 in Wetzel County Hospital, New Martinsville. She was born September 21, 1940 in Wetzel County a daughter of the late Robert P. And Murle Phillips Wetzel.

Grace was a home maker and a volunteer at the New Martinsville Health Care Center, New Martinsville. She was a member of Ripley Chapel United Methodist Church, Alma.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Harry Wetzel.

Grace is survived by her husband Lloyd Carl ( Steve ) Seckman. A son Steven R. Seckman of Williamstown, WV. A daughter Stephnie R. Seckman Parkersburg, WV. A daughter in law Gail Seckman, Williamstown. Two sisters; Yvonne Smith and her husband Jerry and Murldene Lemasters and her husband George all of Tyler City. Five grandchildren; Matthew, Bethany, Jacob and Avery Seckman and Gage Leffler. Nieces and nephews including Jeffrey and Randal Seckman,Timothy and Tony Lemasters, Tonya Doak, Benny Smith, Bobbi Harlan, Terri Smith and Tammy Bowers.

Friends will be received at Furbee Funeral Home, Route 18, Tyler Saturday January 30, 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm where services will be held Sunday 2:00 pm with Reverend Donald Thomas officiating. Interment in Beechwood Cemetery, Alma.
